TO CRUISE OR NOT TO CRUISE: ROYAL CARRIBEAN'S ALLURE OF THE SEAS

TO CRUISE OR NOT TO CRUISE: ROYAL CARRIBEAN'S ALLURE OF THE SEAS

Embarking on a Tropical Paradise (and a Whole Lot of Fun)

Our long-awaited cruise to the Bahamas aboard the Allure of the Seas was nothing short of a dream vacation. Except for the part where we almost missed our flight because someone decided to bring a L'Oréal hair straightening cream on board (seriously, who does that? Me!). But hey, at least we had a good laugh about it.

Our Stateroom: A Balconied Oasis (with a partial View of the Ocean & the Aqua Theatre... and sometimes Seagull or Two)

Our stateroom, located on Deck 12 with a balcony close to the aft of the ship, offered a stunning view that blended the ocean's vastness with the captivating Aqua Theater. It was the perfect spot to relax, sip on a piña colada (my husband..a lot), and pretend you were a seagull (Well, he he drank plenty that he thought he was a seagull, scuttle!"

A Smooth Embarkation (Except for the Part Where We Almost Didn't Make It)

Embarkation was a breeze, thanks to the efficient check-in process. However, a minor hiccup at the airport involving a slightly oversized L'Oréal hair cream caused a brief delay. A tip for future travelers: always double-check carry-on regulations, or risk becoming the airport's newest viral sensation.

Key to Convenience: The Key Pass (Because Who Wants to Remember Their Room Number?)

Investing in the Key Pass was a wise decision. It streamlined our onboard experience, allowing us to access our stateroom, purchase items, and even order room service with ease. Basically, it was like having a personal assistant who knew where everything was.

A Pre-Cruise Adventure: South Beach Miami (Where the Party Never Stops)

We arrived in Miami a day before the cruise and spent some time exploring the vibrant South Beach. The lively atmosphere, beautiful beaches, and diverse dining options made for a fantastic pre-trip experience. Plus, we got to people-watch to our heart's content.

Cococay: A Tropical Paradise (Where the Rules Don't Apply)

One of the highlights of our cruise was our visit to Cococay, Royal Caribbean's private island. The crystal-clear waters, pristine beaches, and thrilling water slides made it the perfect place to relax and have fun. We even saw someone try to ride a banana boat wearing a life jacket and a fedora. It was a sight to behold.

An Unforgettable Dolphin Encounter (and a Few Dolphin Kisses)

Our dolphin encounter was an absolute highlight. Swimming with these majestic creatures and even getting a kiss from one was an experience we'll never forget. We also learned that dolphins are surprisingly good at giving hugs.

A Culinary Delight (and a Few Extra Pounds)

The food onboard the Allure of the Seas was exceptional. Every night, we were treated to a different fine dining menu, featuring a variety of delicious dishes. It was a culinary adventure that satisfied even the most discerning palates. And by "discerning," we mean "hungry."

Meeting Fellow Filipinos (and Sharing Stories of Home)

One of the pleasant surprises of our trip was meeting several fellow Filipinos onboard. It was heartwarming to connect with people from our homeland and share our experiences together. We also learned that Filipinos have a knack for finding each other in the most unexpected places.

Conclusion

Our Bahamas cruise aboard the Allure of the Seas was an unforgettable experience. From the luxurious stateroom to the thrilling adventures on Cococay and the unforgettable dolphin encounter, every moment was filled with joy, excitement, and a few good laughs. We highly recommend this cruise to anyone seeking a tropical paradise... and a chance to become a viral sensation.

A Must-Do Bucket List Experience

If you're looking for an unforgettable vacation that's not just a trip, but an adventure, I highly recommend a cruise with Royal Caribbean. The Allure of the Seas is an incredible ship with something for everyone. From the thrilling water slides that will make you question your life choices to the Broadway shows that will make you think you're in a different world, there's always something to do. Royal Caribbean is by far the G.O.A.T (Greatest Of All Time) of cruise lines, and a Bahamas cruise is a must-do bucket list experience.

Bon Voyage..Go "seas" the day!!!

Until next time....
